Digital accessibility
at Aqqo
Aqqo places great value on usability and user experience. That's why Aqqo complies with accessibility standards as much as possible.
Aqqo conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The accessibility audits Aqqo carries out are performed using the WCAG-EM evaluation and inspection methodology (Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology 1.0 – see https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG-EM/).
Standard reporting
For services to municipalities, Aqqo complies with the GIBIT conditions. Aqqo can deliver a digital accessibility report based on an audit of a standard environment. This environment has not been adapted in styling or configuration for a specific client. The report distinguishes between Level A and Level AA. Findings are also categorised according to the four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust.
The process
Aqqo continuously develops its services. Accessibility is a theme that receives ongoing attention. Findings from audits are resolved every week. This means an audit is a snapshot in time. Aqqo continues to ensure that the quality of its application keeps meeting current standards as closely as possible.
External audit
Aqqo is always open to an external audit commissioned by its clients. Clients can ask an external auditor to audit Aqqo's environment. Aqqo does ask that the findings are shared with them, so they can be added to the planning to be resolved or improved in the future. A "comply or explain" assessment by Aqqo is possible.
Producing a report for your own environment
Aqqo can produce a report for your own environment. For example [municipality].aqqo.com:
- ✓ An up-to-date report on the status of your environment.
- ✓ Findings are shared transparently.
- ✓ An online presentation of the findings is optionally available.
- ✓ Findings are classified using "comply or explain":
- Comply — a finding is scheduled and resolved in the software.
- Explain — an explanation is given as to why the finding does not apply or cannot be adjusted in the software.
- ✓ An indication of when findings will be resolved.
- ✓ A retest is possible once changes have been implemented.
- ✓ The investment for this is 3 days of consultancy.
