About the role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Aqqo, you’ll help shape the frontend of a scalable SaaS platform used by thousands of users daily. You’ll play a key role in defining architecture, setting standards, and improving development processes—while still building high-quality features with real impact.
This is more than a coding role. You’ll lead by example, guide your peers, and bring your technical vision to life. Performance, maintainability, and user experience are at the core of everything we do—and your input helps drive it forward.
What will you do
- Design, build, and evolve the frontend of the Aqqo platform
- Work with TypeScript and React / Next.js on a modern SaaS product
- Create reusable UI components and maintain a scalable design system
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsive design are consistently strong
- Set and uphold frontend architecture and code standards
- Improve development workflows and processes
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers
- Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor) to boost development and review speed—while remaining the technical decision-maker

- Have solid experience with TypeScript and React / Next.js
- Focus on quality, sustainability, and scalable architecture
- Understand performance, UX, and accessibility best practices
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Back up your technical choices with reasoning and experience
- Enjoy mentoring others and raising the bar for the team
