About Aqqo

Aqqo is the market leader in reservation and management software for (municipal) sports facilities, meeting venues, and community properties. We help our clients plan, automate, and handle the financial aspects of bookings. Simplicity, a good user experience, and visual clarity are essential. Your work will have a direct impact on how managers organize their facilities on a daily basis.

About the role

Help our clients get started with confidence. As an Implementation Consultant for Aqqo Finance, you’ll guide our customers through every step of the implementation process – from intake to go-live. Your focus? A smooth setup of financial integrations, clean data mapping, and reliable validation.

You’ll be the main point of contact for the client during the implementation. It’s your job to make sure everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time – all while keeping quality and customer satisfaction high.

Along the way, you'll help improve Aqqo Finance itself by sharing insights from real-world use. Your input helps us build a product that works even better for our customers.

The main goals of the Implementation Consultant Aqqo Finance are:

  • A successful and timely go-live for Aqqo Finance implementations
  • Accurate and reliable financial data flows (POS → Aqqo → accounting/BI)
  • High customer satisfaction during and after implementation
  • Fewer post-go-live issues through thorough testing and validation
  • Active contribution to product improvements and best practices within Aqqo Finance

What will you do

  • Guide implementation projects from intake through to go-live.
  • Analyze customer processes, POS systems, and financial workflows.
  • Design and configure Aqqo Finance integrations.
  • Set up data mapping for revenue groups, general ledger accounts, and VAT structures.
  • Create and manage implementation plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and report on risks, issues, and next steps.
  • Plan and execute tests and dry runs.
  • Validate financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support go-live and provide aftercare where needed.
  • Train and onboard customer users.
  • Advise customers on best practices for financial setup, data quality, and BI structures.
  • Act as the main point of contact and escalation point during implementations.
  • Identify product improvements and customer needs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Aqqo Finance, including integrations, features, and BI capabilities.

About you

  • Strong analytical skills and financial insight
  • Solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
  • Technical understanding of data integrations, mapping, and API connections
  • Structured and methodical approach to implementation projects
  • Strong communication skills – with both clients and internal teams
  • Proactive, independent, and accountable for your own projects
  • Customer-focused, with an eye for quality and reliability
  • Affinity with data and business intelligence is a plus
  • A higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking – ideally with a background in IT, business administration, finance, or business information.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in software implementations or consultancy – preferably in environments with POS systems, accounting software, or data integrations.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and revenue recognition.
  • Technical insight into data models, revenue group mapping, general ledger structures, and integrations with external systems (APIs, POS, accounting software, BI tools).
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills – you're accurate, organized, proactive, and a clear communicator.
  • You’re customer-focused, results-driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for on-site client onboarding when needed.

Benefits

  • Work in an informal atmosphere where quality and relieving the customer’s worries are key.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Flexible work locations: Deurningen (Ov) or Utrecht.
