About the role

Do you have experience as an account manager, or do you bring valuable expertise from the hospitality or event market? Do you have a background in banqueting, event management, or the commercial operation of venues, and are you looking for an exciting role in the tech world?

What will you do

  • Expand our customer base and strengthen existing relationships in the event and hospitality market.
  • Understand the challenges of banqueting and event professionals and show them the value of our software.
  • Take part in the Aqqo Traineeship to quickly get to know our product and processes by working in support, implementation, and product development.
  • Use your traineeship experience to better advise clients and strengthen your position as a trusted partner.
  • Provide clients with insights into the product and their market, while understanding their operational challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with hospitality managers, F&B managers, and directors of multi-site organizations.
  • Know when to involve a colleague (founder or specialist) with complex clients or leads.
  • Map out client organizations (DMUs, requirements) and maintain oversight.
  • Guide clients in making the right choices for their application landscape (POS, accounting, reservation tools, access control).
  • Draft, send, and actively follow up on proposals.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to colleagues in implementation and support once new deals are signed.
  • Take responsibility for contract value, sales cycles, and contract terms throughout the agreement period.
  • Work with HubSpot and report weekly in the sales team meeting.

About you

  • 3+ years of experience as an account manager or sales professional.
  • Experience or affinity with hospitality, banqueting, or event management.
  • Motivated to become a domain expert and deliver high quality.
  • Communicative, resilient under pressure, and able to set priorities.
  • Take ownership of client relationships and act professionally in challenging situations.
  • Work accurately and document and follow up actions thoroughly in the CRM.
